Engineering Mechanics

Engineering mechanics is concerned with determination of the stress and deformation of elastic bodies as well as the movement of bodies. It provides calculation methods for materials science, mechanical engineering and structural statics, for example. It includes dynamics with statics and kinetics, kinematics, continuum mechanics with fluid mechanics and the strength of materials, for example, as well as rotor dynamics and machine dynamics.
