The drive or powertrain first of all puts the vehicle into motion and makes us mobile. The automotive world has occupied itself with new drive concepts for years. Whether the long-serving Otto or diesel engine or new developments in the field of electric or hybrid drives, the focus is on driving dynamics, weight, and emissions with low consumption of fuel or energy. The most commonly used drives/fuel are petrol and diesel engines, hybrid and electric drives as well as the fuel cell, followed by the LPG or natural gas drive.
